The food we eat is the result of our farmers’ sweat and toil. We often fail to give due respect to our farmers and to the food we receive from them. Let us learn to touch every grain of food, and every fruit with respect before we eat them. Let us bow our heads in reverence to all those who sow seeds for us, and who brave the wind and the sun while keeping vigil over the crops.
